Menopause
Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause, when hormone levels begin to fluctuate — often for several years before periods stop.
Menopause is reached when you’ve had 12 months without a period.

Feel more like yourself with personalised hormone support
Hormonal changes can affect how you feel day to day — including your energy levels, sleep, mood, and confidence. You may notice symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, disrupted sleep, or weight changes, and may feel less like yourself.
At our clinic, we provide personalised treatment plans following a thorough clinical assessment. This may include licensed hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and, where appropriate, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), depending on your individual needs.
Our approach focuses on understanding your symptoms, medical history, and preferences, so we can support your overall wellbeing using evidence-based care. You will be monitored regularly to ensure treatment remains safe, appropriate, and effective.
Some treatments may include compounded hormone preparations, which are individually prescribed and are not licensed medicines in the UK.

know Zoe
Zoe Starmer-Hudson is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
After experiencing early menopause following cancer treatment for cervical cancer at just 34, Zoe joined a cervical cancer support group and soon found herself helping other women understand their symptoms and treatment effects.
A decade later, friends and patients were still coming to her for advice — proof of how many women struggle to find clear, trustworthy menopause guidance.
That realisation inspired Zoe to become a menopause specialist, and create a safe, welcoming, evidence-based space where women can learn, share and regain confidence in their bodies.
What is Bioidentical Hormone replacement Therapy
Bioidentical hormones are compounds designed to be structurally similar to the hormones naturally produced by the body. Some are available as licensed medicines in the UK, while others may be specially prepared (compounded) following an individual prescription.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is one of several treatment options that may be considered as part of menopause care. Following a thorough clinical assessment, hormone therapy may be offered to help manage symptoms associated with hormonal changes.
Treatment plans are tailored to the individual and may include different types and doses of hormones, depending on clinical need. All treatment is provided with appropriate monitoring to ensure safety and suitability.

How is BHRT differnt to HRT ?
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a commonly used treatment for menopause symptoms and includes a range of licensed medications available in the UK.
Some HRT preparations use hormones that are structurally similar to those produced by the body. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a term often used to describe treatments that use these types of hormones, including both licensed products and, in some cases, individually prepared (compounded) prescriptions.
The most appropriate treatment option will depend on your individual symptoms, medical history, and preferences. During your consultation, we will discuss the available options with you, including the potential benefits and risks, to help you make an informed decision.
All treatment is provided with appropriate clinical monitoring to ensure safety and suitability.
