Refund Policy
1. Prescription-Only Medication
Weight loss injections (e.g., GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide or liraglutide) are prescription-only medicines (POMs). Once prescribed and dispensed, they cannot be returned or refunded under UK law, unless faulty or recalled. This ensures patient safety and compliance with MHRA regulations. A prescription will only be issued following a consultation to check suitability.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:
-
Cancellation prior to dispensing: If your prescription is cancelled before the medication has been dispensed by the pharmacy, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, minus any consultation or administrative fees.
-
Product recall or defect: If the product is proven to be defective or recalled by the manufacturer or MHRA, you will be offered a refund or replacement as appropriate.
-
Ineligibility for Refunds
-
Refunds will not be granted if:
-
Medication has already been dispensed or shipped.
-
You change your mind after the prescription is processed.
-
You are dissatisfied with treatment outcomes, unless due to clinical error.
-
You fail to use the medication as prescribed, or stop treatment voluntarily.
-
Consultation Fees
-
Fees paid for medical consultations (online or in person) are non-refundable, even if you are deemed unsuitable for treatment after clinical assessment.
